Test Set Error History vs Iteration

Plot the test data’s error history. The error is the root-mean-square (RMS) error between network outputs and targets in the test set. Use this option to examine how well the network model predicts cases outside the training set and determine the overtraining status (along with correlation and tolerance histories). If the test data’s error is declining, constructive learning is occurring. TIP: Use NetGraph’s AutoZoom to better view portions of the test data’s error history. Oscillations in this parameter can sometimes make it difficult to view the error history with the original scale.
