Network Design and Construction

When designing a network, the modeler must specify the following information:

• The number of input nodes.

• The number of hidden layers (1 to 8).

• The number of nodes in each of the hidden layers.

• The number of output nodes.

The following additional design features can also be set:

• The connection design of the network.

• The transfer functions used in each layer.
