QnetTool 2000 |
When performing manual recall with QnetTool, the standard procedure includes the following steps:
From your Windows data application, select the data to process. Do not include blank (or Qnet comment) rows or columns. Select only the actual input data. The number of columns corresponds to the number of network inputs and the number of rows in the selected block represent the number of cases to process. The order of the column data should be the same order used in the network creation. Execute the Edit/Copy command in your spreadsheet to copy the selected data to the Windows' Clipboard. This makes the data available to QnetTool.
2) Start QnetTool and select "Yes" to load the current clipboard contents. (If QnetTool was already started, clear the input grid, if necessary, and select "Paste from Clipboard".)
3) Select Open Qnet Network button and select the Qnet 97 <name.NET> file to use for recall.
4) Select Recall to process the data through the network.
5) Select the Copy to Clipboard button to load recall answers back to the clipboard.
6) In your data application, select the cell location where the answers are to be placed and choose "Edit/Paste" to transfer the results.
That's it. The neural network results are available in your spreadsheet. No cumbersome importing and exporting of data. If you plan to access the neural network many times, we recommend that you review the automatic integration option. While the manual method provides fast and efficient recall, automatic integration can further reduce the work you must perform and can provide you with a complete custom application for obtaining your neural network solutions.
